Everyplace Is The Marketplace: How to Make Your Book Move!
By now, we've learned the cold, hard truth: a book, like any other consumer good, is just another product in an ever-widening digital marketplace. That's the good news. The bad is that your audience no longer sits to have its information appetite fed. The market is now mobile and everyplace is the marketplace.

Join our discussion on best digital practices for meeting your audience wherever they may be. Make "Hello!" and "Thank you!" your most-often used words in marketing your book or product.

Inspired Distraction: A Conversation on the Disruptive Act of Writing
Join Max Rodriguez in an audience participation Q&A on the process, challenge, and rewards of writing. A selected writer will join Max on stage to discuss their writing (and yours!), from inspiration to publication.

About Art Sanctuary's Celebration of Black Arts Festival: Art Sanctuary’s Celebration of Black Arts Festival (CBA) is one of the most prominent African-American literary and arts events in the nation putting the spotlight on black literary, visual and performing arts.  Larry Robin of Robin’s Bookstore originally founded the event as a one-day gathering of literary scholars and authors over 30 years ago.  After taking over, Art Sanctuary has spent over a decade transforming the celebration into a month-long festival showcasing the talents of African Americans of all ages, background and interests. This May, black art and culture will fill the city of Philadelphia with a month-long exhibit, community literary and performance events, author readings, and workshops for emerging writers and artists.  This year is sure to be the biggest celebration yet!
