Do You Hear What I See? is a special collection seen through the eyes of brilliant photojournalist Ron St.Clair.  A drummer by nature and a photographer by nurture, rhythm is a constant foundation on which his body of work is built.  This collection responds to the call to honor Black music and the great musicians who created it.  As we enter the month of celebration of Black Music, Ron gives a look into a special summer day on the White House lawn in 1979 that sparked the celebration that would become Black Music Month.  He also provides context to the depth of Black Music as you get the opportunity to bear witness to rare historic moments with great musicians across genres.  Dance with Dizzy Gillipesie and Ruth Brown.  Bear witness to the celebration of a vibrant Count Basie by the likes of Lena Horne, Quincy Jones and Dionne Warwick.
